It is fair to assume that Obama was photographed by Richardson for some suitable Publication ( though Richardson is known for his sometime pornographic images, he is considered a successful portrait photographer, although not my cup of tea), and after the photoshoot Richardson more than likely had his assistant take this photo. How it got out of the studio, Richardson owes an explanation, but this photo is completely benign and I dare the radical right to make something of this.
